READING YOUR DOG LIKE A BOOK

Arguably the most important handler skill in Nose Work, reading your dog can make or break your competition experiences.

In this webinar, Michael and Natalie are going to focus on you, the handler, and your ability to understand what your dog is saying to you in all components of the search. You're going to learn how reading your dog isn't just about knowing the moment your dog is on source but everything your dog is trying to communicate with you from the car to saying "Finish".

This webinar is approved for 2 NACSW CEUs.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS ARE SAYING

"Talking through what I see while my dog is working" Mel W.

"I learned how much I'm not watching my dog and how important it is" Rhonda M.

"I realized how little attention I've paid to what my dog is doing and what he's telling me, and how that affects our searches. I loved the exercises they suggested. I feel like I have a good place to start changing how I pay attention to/interact with my pup. This is my first experience with Michael and Natalie - they were super fun while being instructive." Joanne O.

"Great information and food for thought. Have picked up some items I need to work on. More then one trainers insight with the information presented." Michael T.

SHOULD YOU TAKE THIS WEBINAR

Are you training in Scent Work or Nose Work?

Your dog is the one with the nose...but do you know when they have actually found a hide, when they have ruled out there are any hides in blank areas, etc.?

Are you planning to, or are currently, competing?

You are an important part of the team, and being able to properly read your dog will ensure you are determining if they need help, are working out a problem and much more.

Are you an instructor?

Being able to guide your students to better develop their eye while watching their dogs search is key when you are teaching Scent Work and Nose Work courses.
